Gender Inequality at Work in the UK

How the gender inequality at work changed within the pandemic in the UK?

Literature review

Gender inequality is a major issue that has a significant impact on the evolution of human society. The gap has been narrowing consistently (with social progress and the awakening of women's consciousness), but the COVID-19 outbreak set the effort back by more than 10 years (Taub, 2020). As MA students, we also face the pressure of post-pandemic employment and may need to deal with gender inequality at work. Thus, we want to explore this issue from the aspects of pay gap, leadership, unpaid work and remote working, and find out how it changed during the pandemic in the UK.
